As a fellow kendoka (currently a yondan), I run Hokubei Budogu with a sense of responsibility to provide high-quality Kendo equipment, communicate with the Kendo community to do my best to bring what you need and continue to improve what I sell. I also focus on running Hokoubei Budogu to succeed so that I can give back and contribute to the growth of the Kendo community in the North American continent.

Since November 2023
It all started as a small side gig selling Shinai in the summer of 2023. A few months later, I met a valuable friend: Nathan Gallinger of California Budogu. He welcomed me into the industry, helped me get started, and taught me so much. I am forever grateful to him. Hokubei Budogu was born and is growing at a steady pace. This was all possible because of the support the Kendo community gives me daily.
